Michael's studio is at his home in Bucks County, PA. Before that, he was a longtime city dweller. A resident of New York City for 19 years, and earlier, Philadelphia, entering the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), graduating in 1981; PAFA / University of Pennsylvania, BFA, 1993. Michael's paintings of the seashore are inspired by time spent at Rehoboth Beach and Cape Henlopen, Delaware.
