Michael grew up in Media, Pennsylvania and became interested in painting when he was in his mid twenties.  He graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 1981 and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1993. Michael has had several solo shows and exhibited at an cooperative gallery in New Yok City.  He takes part in annual, juried and invited exhibitions in Pennsylvania, New York and Delaware.
